These Terms govern website and portal use only. They do not replace, amend, or supersede any separate written agreement, purchase order terms accepted by SafetyShades™, customer agreement, optical services arrangement, or other contract between SafetyShades™ and a facility or organization. If a conflict exists, the applicable separately executed written agreement controls to the extent of that conflict.
Information provided on this website is intended primarily for correctional, governmental, medical, institutional, procurement, and other professional audiences.
The SafetyShades™ website and its contents, including text, graphics, photographs, product images, branding, logos, page designs, program descriptions, documents, and other materials, are owned by or licensed to SafetyShades™ and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
SafetyShades™ incorporates proprietary and patent-pending product development. Publication of information or images on this website does not grant any license or right to use, reproduce, manufacture, modify, commercialize, or create derivative products based upon SafetyShades™ intellectual property or proprietary information.

For applicable prescription orders, required patient-specific prescription and clinical information should be provided by authorized facility personnel directly through the designated optical provider's separate process after the applicable SafetyShades™ order has been approved.
SafetyShades™ does not determine whether a particular prescription, treatment, clinical decision, or vision-care intervention is medically appropriate for an individual. Those determinations remain the responsibility of appropriately qualified healthcare and optical professionals.
The SafetyShades™ Facility Portal is intended only for authorized facility personnel who have been granted access.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for promptly notifying SafetyShades™ if they believe their account has been accessed or used without authorization.
Facility Portal users may not share access with unauthorized individuals or attempt to obtain access to another facility's information or account.
Submission of an order request through the Facility Portal:
SafetyShades™ will review applicable order and purchasing information before confirming whether an order is approved to proceed.
After approval, authorized facility medical personnel may be directed to submit applicable patient-specific optical information directly through the designated optical provider's separate process.
Users submitting information through the Facility Portal are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide is accurate and that they are authorized by their organization to submit the applicable request. Portal access alone does not establish legal authority to obligate government or organizational funds.
The SafetyShades™ website may contain links to websites, portals, or systems operated by third parties, including providers involved in optical or other supporting services.
Third-party websites and systems may be subject to separate terms, privacy policies, security practices, and operating procedures. Users should review the applicable terms and policies before submitting information to a third-party service.
SafetyShades™ makes reasonable efforts to maintain accurate and useful website information but does not warrant that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously available.

Failure by SafetyShades™ to enforce a provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other right.
SafetyShades™ may update these Terms from time to time as its website, portal, products, programs, or business operations evolve. Revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective or revision date when appropriate.
